Mark has come to photography from a background as a filmmaker and artistic director on many photo shoots for various ad campaigns. His background has had a big influence on his versatile style as a photographer through lighting, composition, tone and a strong sense of 'story telling'. Mark, who is also Head of Creative and Audio Visual Production at an ad agency, approaches his work in a thorough and professional manner. In the short space of time since returning to photography in 2008, Mark has built up an impressive portfolio of personal and published work, specialising in fashion, editorial and portraiture. He shoots almost exclusively on locations, seeing the surrounding ambience as an important character to any shoot, whilst thriving on the challenges such shoots invariably present.
